Almunge GK
Almunge GK is a gem. It feels like golf's roots in some way - but in Sweden. Almunge is a 9-hole course with two par 5's, four par 4's and three par 3's. This is no easy course. Several of the holes are really tricky in terrain that is a mixture of Uppland parkland course and east coast feeling with a rocks and junipers. The course’s most difficult – hole 8 - is a tough task. Concealed drive from the yellow tee, high and beautiful from the red. A par 4 which is narrow with woods on the right side, and a stone wall on the left. Water hazards on both the fairway and behind the green. Difficult - but beautiful.
