Is the course difficult? The course measures only 5,760 metres with open fairways and wide greens, so it shouldn’t be. But in some way it challenges the most experienced professional's ability without being unfair to the beginner.
The desert-like surroundings with glimpses of the Mediterranean Sea, sweeping hills and steep cliffs guarantees a spectacular impression. The small, round teeing areas, up to six on some holes, can sometimes look frighteningly difficult. But as most tee shots are hit downhill, they look harder than they actually are.
