Golfclub Konstanz

The roots of the Golf Club Konstanz go back to the year 1930. In 1965 the club was re-established at its present location under the current name. It is one of the most traditional golf clubs in Germany. The Golf Club Konstanz is member of the "Leading Golf Courses of Germany E.V."

Even its location is unique. On a mountain range between the lakes Überlinger See and Radolfzeller See, called Bodanrück, the fairways are embedded in a completely unspoiled natural landscape which is free of cars, roads, and disturbing settlements. Far and wide pure nature! The club buildings also match that idyll, especially the guest rooms which convey any visitor a warm and very cozy atmosphere. Invisible, but ever present, there is a kitchen, which knows with the technology of the 21st Century, how to fulfill the varied requests. The terrace offers an unforgettable view over the seemingly boundless Lake Konstanz. The historic estate Kargegg is a place which is unique in its rocksolid down-to-earthiness, pleasant comfort and hospitable orientation.

The course is a challenge for all levels. The topography of the course, the mainly in the forest embedded fairways and numerous water hazards require a strong strategy and a careful reflection when selecting the clubs. In addition, however, there are also open areas where less experienced players can really feel happy. In short, it seems that the founders have had the intention to create a golf course which fulfills the enthusiasm and requirements of golf.

Needless to say that the Golf Club Konstanz is also able to offer other great scenic and cultural attractions apart from golf. First of all it’s the Lake Konstanz itself, then the city of Konstanz with its many sights, Mainau - the Flower Island, the UNESO World Heritage Site - The Island of Reichenau, and finally the Hegau area with its castle ruins. These are a few examples for countless others attractions which may help to make the golf club Konstanz very attractive also for companions without golfing ambitions or golfers when they like to take “Golf-free” day.
