Las Lagunas

Located just 15 minutes away from the city of Santo Domingo, this course boasts immense rolling terrain with lush greenery reflected in the crystalline waters of its lakes. Las Lagunas is seen as an oasis just outside the city, with 18 holes surrounded by green fairways, unspoiled nature and tranquility. The first nine holes demand much from players due to their long distances. Entering the second nine holes, players will find themselves amid lakes where more precise play is required. The course ends with three spectacular holes: two very challenging and dangerous par 5 (the 16th and 18th holes) and the par 3 (17th hole), perhaps one of the most beautiful in the entire course. Las Lagunas is where the Dominican Golf Federation holds all of its leading events and is one of the country’s most popular courses. The Golf Federation’s golf academy is also located here and offers day and night classes (between 8:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.). Las Lagunas features a clubhouse, 19th hole bar, pool, golf shop, locker rooms and a sauna.
