La Estancia GC
La Estancia is a course of very exceptional beauty and challenging holes. The course boasts impressive views of the rocky peaks looking towards the Chavón River, mainly along the first nine holes. Designer of La Estancia, P.B. Dye, did not spare any effort to make this a great golf course, which doesn't have one mediocre hole, all are excellent. He frequently preferred waves of grass instead of sand traps around the greens and most of its greens have very marked drops and waves. La Estancia has a driving range, putting green, a clubhouse and restaurant, golf shop and locker rooms. Pools and tennis courts complement the golf course. Its advantage is that it is located 20 minutes away from Bayahibe beach, the Altos de Chavón artists' village and Casa de Campo, as well as the city of La Romana.
