Corales
This design by Tom Fazio is characterized by the variety of short and long holes that play with nature, with seven of them along the sea and on most of the course you'll find several cliffs and coral reefs so the wind will also create difficulties in play. To create certain waves at various places on the course, its designer Fazio removed 1.3 million cubic meters of soil, and Corales is proud to offer memorable holes along the sea. The par 5 7th hole, for example is a right-leaning “dog leg” which then leads to the green in the direction of the Caribbean Sea. The entire length of the exciting par 3 17th hole hangs on the side of a precipice, and this exciting challenge culminates in the 18th hole, a par 4 which goes around the promontory and requires a dramatic shot over the rocky, turquoise Corales bay. It is the second golf course at the Punta Cana Resort & Club and is a private course, part of the luxury residential enclave of Corales.
